It can be used in any embedded systems,car,mp4,gps,industrial device,security and hand-held equipment which requires display in high quality and colorful image.It supports rgb interface. In the NV3858GBC datasheet, it says there is a "MODE" input which chooses between "DE mode" (high) or HSYNC/VSYNC mode (low). That driver pin is not brought out to the 40-pin flex, so how do you have it configured for this display? I would like to use DE mode if possible.

Dear Mark,
Actually, we set DE mode for this LCD display by default. Meanwhile, you could change the MODE from DE to HSYNC/VSYNC via R2 resistor on FPC circuit, pls note it.
